I haven’t done this itinerary with AMA yet, but the biggest surprise for me in general with river cruising was how I thought river cruising was slower paced. It is not. You need to pace yourself because you can wear yourself out in the first 3 days. If you do an excursion during each time frame they offer one, you will be exhausted well before the end of the trip.
